Accident Reports
The CT-DOT collects all motor vehicle accidents where property damage or injury occurs. Any Cyclist or Pedestrian involved in an accident with a motor vehicle will be part of this database. Reports for the 2006-2008 time period are available below:

Pedestrian accident data:
some general conclusions about the Pedestrian data: winter months are more dangerous than summer months with December the most dangerous, 58% of accidents occur in daylight hours, about 1/2 accidents are at intersections, the others between intersections, most accidents occur in clear and dry weather conditions, and the pedestrian is declared to be at fault for almost half of the accidents
